What is the fastest or best processor that my ms-7501 motherboard will support?
I want to upgrade, but I’m not sure what it is compatible with. The MS-7501 motherboard has an AM2+ socket. The fastest AM2+ socket processor appears to be the Phenom II 940, but will it work with the motherboard?
sorry the phenom II processors are AM3 socket the fastest processor you can put in your system is a AMD phenom X4 9850 although AMD recommends you only put a phenom X4 9750
