motherboard installation troubleshooting
I have two IDE ATA / C and E and we have added an SATA PC says it is working, but Explorer can not see the use of
I a-Aesus A7S8X MX motherboard and now I'm running two IDE / ATA drive. I added an SATA drive (STM3250310AS Maxtor) I think it is empty .. XP recognizes the drive is there, and says it is working correctly, but can not see in explorer (should be E:) for formatting. In the Device Manager is not the location. BIOS is showing as primary SATA or secondary (I have tried in both slots). The Maxtor SATA disk 2. Fnac cord has been said for a SATA 1 and 2. I'm tired of all help resolve SCSI standard. I have a record XP installation, but this is not the original computer … Any ideas? Alex
