linux hdd free space
The necessary expertise. HDD partition problem.
I have a HP 6767tx laptop that has 250 GB hard drive. There are two partitions or drives C and D, where C has 232 GB and the recovery partition D has 10 GB to 8 GB is dedicated to the recovery section. I want to install Ubuntu 8.04 to 8 GB of space on another C partition (Windows partition), so it will dual boot between Vista Premium pre-installed and the new Linux Ubuntu 8.04. But the problem is that the only partition other than C is D and has only 2 GB of free space and Ubuntu requires 8 GB. As I mentioned, I can not remove, as it only contains the recovery software.
