which is better for a laptop, a 7200 rpm hdd, or a ssd with 150mbps read and 100mbps write?
the 7200, because the read and write of a hard drive isn’t anywhere NEAR 100mbps in real world use. much closer to 80, on either RPM based, or stable state drives
plus, SSD’s have a nasty habit of locking up when you do multiple things at once.
i’ve seen you all over this board tonight, and i know you know about newegg, so go look at some of the reviews for crucial, and corsair stable state drives, they have serious issues, and they’re way overpriced.
