Will a 3.5″ IDE HDD work when plugged into a 2.5″ connection?
I’m wanting to connect a 3.5″ HDD (IDE) into a slim computer I have that uses a 2.5″ HDD, theres no problems with power supply but when I connect through a 3.5″-2.5″ converter, the HDD is not picked by the computer. Any ideas? thanks
If the adapter is functional (data & power), then the issue is with the PC’s BIOS.
I suggest you go in there & take a look.
