cpu versus gpu

cpu versus gpu
Why GPU speed are slower than the CPU speed? 700 MHz 3000MHz front.?

There are several reasons for this: 1. The 700 MHz are dedicated to one thing – the 3D transformation. 2. They have their own dedicated memory that is the same PCB (printed circuit) as the GPU, so you have direct access to memory. Compared to the distance between the RAM slots using the CPU, the distance between the GPU and RAM is much smaller that made a big difference when it comes time access. 3. The RAM on the video card is faster and faster than system memory. – Example of use of any current Intel GPU GDDR3 demonstrate that start using DDR3 memory for the system in 2007. 4. Interruptions are another reason why GPU is not necessary that the speed a lot. The CPU is interrupted by a lot of things – each keystroke on your keyboard, if your sound card is integrated into the motherboard, etc. In comparison, the GPU is not, so you do not have to share your computing power something else. Hope that answers your question.
