¿I can use 65 nm CPU?
I have a fairly old computer. I was looking to upgrade the processor. Currently I have a core (2.13 GHz) 2 Duo E6420. Socket LGA 775, 65 nm. I have an Intel motherboard, the i975X model. I wondered whether to support a 3.06 GHz CPU, Socket socket 775, but 45 nm technology. Does this work? For more information send an e-mail or tell me to write. Thank you. Hi, Looks like you are looking to upgrade to a core faster processor 2 – and 3.06 would be the E7600, a 45nm processor. Since they are socket 775, when both have the same space and work on the board you have. PS mobo i975X is not the model is that the chipset uses. Cheers, Doug
