cpu high usage
Why is Windows 7 slow for me, high cpu usage?
I have a pentium 4 3.06 ghz processor with 1.5 gb of ram.
Your RAM is on the low side.
If you also just installed, especially as an upgrade, it can have a lot of processing to do early on as it sorts things out. It will index things for searching, for example, but this usually settles down after a couple days.
