Upgrading the processor, graphics card Worth It?
Current Specifications: Has 4GB of RAM and hard disk 1000GB which is sufficient, I think. I agree with Matthew … is not much to improve processor. To enjoy the games you want, as much punch in the GPU, as you can get. So the question is: does you a motherboard that can run two GPUs in SLI mode? If so, your best upgrade would be to add two of the 9800 and put them in SLI. You will receive a body type sick! ADDENDUM: I looked up the motherboard and is limited to a single PCI-Express 16x card, so SLI is out. GPU you choose to use is a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer to go with Nvidia as a company is healthy (all AMD + ATI merger was not a gift or any other company thought it would.) However, ATI cards are good products. I want to go to a site like Tom's Hardware and do side by side comparisons before buying.
