cpu clearance
Which aftermarket cpu cooler is the best bang for the buck that you have used or know of?
I have a Intel 8400 chip that runs at 3.0 ghz. I overclock in a little over 3.7 and of course it tends to warm up. I’m using the stock fan and cooler. Does a decent job but we all know we can make improvements. I don’t want something over priced. I don’t want ot liquid cool it either. I have my hardware set in a custom case which is also my desk with a clear Plexiglas’s top that is my desktop. I have limited clearance between the Plexiglas and the motherboard. It’s no taller than the graphics card (xfx 9800 gt) about 4 inches. Any suggestions?
Also too, if you know a good graphics card cooler for the xfx 9800 GT that would be a big help too.
My mother board is lying down horizontaly. I have roughly 4 inches of clearance between the board and the plexi.
