Best Laptop/CPU for college student on a budget…
Im off to college and im in desperate need for a laptop. Nothing too expensive. $700 or less, no more. I want a fast laptop even when its bogged down w/ video editing and photoshop, also i need a really good battery too, something that will give me 4 hours out of the box. I know i may be asking too much but anything close to this would be great!

Check out the Dell Latitude business series. I have a D630. They have removeable cd drive bays. You can buy a battery that fits into that bay off of ebay for around $20. That will give you almost twice the battery life.
Battery life isn’t really that important. You can almost always find an outlet to plug in to.
Stay away from the consumer line of Dell laptops though. Acer, HP and Asus make some nice, cheaper laptops.
